Suede and buffed leather such as Nubuck are best cleaned with special brushes and cleaning erasers. Before cleaning, always brush off the leather with a shoe brush. To prevent this, the use of products containing high amounts of fat or oil is advised against, as these can impede the breathability of the outer material.
